Very needless program by the Nigerian Federal Government to make their graduate youth go through one year service for the country they dont feel patriotic about. It is unnecessary for these youths and tedious to undertake with a risk to ones life. Such a high call for a future not exactly bright for them. The living conditions for these youths is unhealthy, poor hygiene from the participants and instructors. It is madness
The morning work out is fun but could be stressful, hostels are not like your normal 4-6 in a room, its more like a hall, bathroom is clean but personal hygiene should be a cultivated habit, water supply is adequate, adhere to the rules, follow activities in camp, secure your property and you should be good. Whatever you didnt get while coming, could be gotten from the mami market in camp. ✌
The weather is nice it made me feel like in Jos, but I dont know what triggers my allergy.
Nice and condusive atmosphere....lovely and friendly igbos to mingle with.
The camp is beautiful and always clean, the camp director is very dedicated to her assignment, the camp commandant, platoon leader, and every other camp officials did very well.
Its a beautiful place. Beautiful sights everywhere
Its truly a fun, I dey catch cruise
This place is in a calm environment.
Old Macgregor camp afikpo.i had a great stay and a wonderful moment in camp the environment is cool and conducive, the hostels were not left out too its all clean and healthy. And to all of the officials there, everyone was wonderful and hardworking they were all up and doing. God bless you all and uplift you beyond your expectations. To our big mama, the state coordinator in the person of Mrs Ann Ibe Ngozika I wont forget in a hurry your motherly love and care extended to us. I Love her so much. On behalf of 2019 Batch B stream one Corp member I, Abdulkareem Rahimat say a big thank you to NYSC for moulding us and giving us the opportunity to discover our talent in just two weeks via the saed programme. Im looking forward to becoming a professional photographer soon courtesy of NYSC under the umbrella of SAED... I miss all the soldiers in camp too.I miss the biggle😄., the free meal and free borehole water... I miss campppp
Prepare yourself for proper drilling! 😏
People will tell you this place is developed but its all a scam. Dont be deceived by the slabbed roads and 5m interval street lights. Tbh theres nothing worth your time here.
Its a calm area, its good
Its cool and conducive for experience
Its nice but too far
Afikpo NYSC camp road network is World class😀😀😀
It was awesome, and security was very tight
Nobody:Me: PrayprashunParade! We remove headdresses!Active & Mobile LoloNysc Anthem!
What I hate about the NYSC Perm Camp is that you dont have time to rest well.
Under the Sun and in the rain for God and country
I hate it here. Only a few people are nice. They move slowly, arent considerate and make it seem like they are doing you a favor.
Not bad
Its manageable, it has no permanent power supply.
The atmosphere was nice and the food good
Ebonyi state camp is the worse camp ever
Its a nice environment to be.
A conducive environment, but things are expensive.
Very suitable and lively.
It helps a lot
Spacious, neat, accommodating and in the permanent side... There is also good road leading to the camp.
Hostels are okay but no light
The Afikpo camp is a nice group to kick start your one year national youth service Corps, as the officers are very decipline and at the same time friendly...
A nice place to be for nysc orientation camp. Kudos for a very Good job done
Well Camp experience was liteHad much fun there especially at mami market and the parade groundApart from a few improvement that I hope would be done for the next batch of ajuwaya just blend
Well my own experience hear in camp, is that we are too busy hear no rest every day. An their food here is not too up our satisfaction. But their environment is manageable except the toilet is some how bad, but I think is the cause of crowed. In all I have alot of experience thats all.
Good
Its Very Very Very Very POOOORR
Clean environment, well built structures, always a journey to the mami market (brace up). Mostly Yorubas and Hausas here with a touch of south-southerners
Great place covered with vegetation and highly secured.
Well conducive and serene environment with lots of activities round the clock.
Not close to town
The NYSC permanent camp is a place for 3 weeks NYSC orientation for Nigerian youth under the age 30 years. It is usually located 1 per State across the 37 States of Nigeria.Fortunately, the Ebonyi State camp has been upgraded to a very comfortable camp by governor nweze umahi of ebonyi State. It is believed to be one of the most beautiful and most comfy NYSC camp in Nigeria with security street light all over the premises. The water supply is WOW.The road network it superb.
10/10 experience... Just less hours for sleep... But quite memorable and invigorating.
As of the time I visited, it wasnt a nice place to live though staff sergeant Saad made it fun
The camp is filled with experience
Its a nice place, well rudimented, the officials there are too notch and professional. The toilet facilities still need to be worked on
Still good
The direction is accurate. Thank you google
Old Mcgregor camp,Afikpo, EbonyiA nice camp with good toilets for the hostels,A nice football pitch, the only bad thing is the water on camp, you might need to go with a disinfectant if your skin is sensitive
It is worst
This is the Nysc Orientation camp for all corpers posted to Ebonyi state. It is located in Afikpo north. An hour drive from the capital city of Abakaliki. Its a nice place but there is power (light) outage in Afikpo generally.
Lol, camp here was okay, dont take the soldiers too seriously cause they dont take you seriously either, the food is okay beware of one skirt and blouse insect dont smash it on your body if you ever see it!!!
I hate it here already. Dont even have light to charge my devices. 🤥
Network signals(internet connection only)Glo: 3/5MTN: 2/5Airtel: 3/10Electricity: 5am - 7am, 7pm - 10pm, 2/5N.B: Charging of phones in hostel is prohibited, get ready to charge your phone at mammi for #50.Water: Ok, 3/5Weather: Hot as hell for southerners and ok for northerners( I asked around)Military officers: Harsh at first but really nice and funny people when get to know them.Food: Mammi food is cheap(#250 - #300 per plate), Kitchen food is nice but a little bit small.Photographers: Annoying, always blocking usHostel: Average room, not too good toilet for boys and good toilet for girls.Generally, get ready to join line before you do/get everything; food, allowance, water, charge phone etc
It was quite an experience
Place of experience... Very cool for camping
Stressful
A nice place to Be.

A lot of improvements as compared to pictures online. Mazel tov to the management.
It was an amazing place to be. I enjoyed my stay there
After my 3weeks orientation camp at Old Macgreggor I am happy to be here and have such experience
Cool and good
The food is quite alright
I am here for the reconstruction of parade ground of NYSC orientation camp Afikpo courtesy of the indomitable effort of the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. Dave Umahi, the peoples choice. At the end of this week, the camp will definitely wear a new look.
Cool
Its a good place filled with fun n other exciting things. But the hostels need reconstruction.
Indoors is not funny but was fun meeting new and loving friends....
I cherished my being there I write it as my life story
