Food here was good, servers were polite and being next door to an art space was a great choice.Wait time of food is long (so prepare yourself) as commonly noted in other reviews but this is because the food is made from scratch. They will tell you exactly how long it should take if you ask, so you can go view some of the art pieces next door as you await your order. There is also puff-puff served you as you wait.Parking, however, is outside the building and on the side of the road so you have to be careful with this. Its best then not to go when its quite dark/at night.Overall, a good spot for a nice meal.

Nice Ambience, surrounding but food is not as good as I expected

Ok where are all my fellow Ofada lovers? Gather here this review is for you 😁⁣⁣I finally got to try @spiceplatter famous Ofada sauce and rice and men it was worth. It’s not the best I’ve had but it was not bad at all. ⁣⁣One thing I loved about it was they were very generous with their portion! I took the remaining sauce away and I still used it twice! The assorted meat was also a lot.⁣⁣If you’ve been wondering where to get quality Ofada you should check out @spiceplatter it comes with plantain too. ⁣Although I wish the protein had more of beef, shaki and ponmo it had a lot of liver and I hate liver. I hope they make the protein more assorted.⁣𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 ⁣While I was waiting for my food they served very hot yummy puff that was when I knew I was sold! A good cooling indoor spot.

I had their pounded yam and afang soup with gizzard. Loved it! Deliciously made. Took about 20-35mins. An ancient ambiance (I was fascinated by the door handle), theres a museum on the other side and its free entry too.

This place has good ambience, great customer service. They have a bar and external area to sit. Few of their menus I have tasted are quite imppressive. They pride themselves in the ability to deliver your order anywhere in Abuja. You can make reservations for single and group. I consider their prices fair enough. The fulfillment time for order can be unpredictable, I thought they were fast, but it took more than 35minutes to fulfill my Sandwich order. Its good for both group and private hangouts.

I liked the food. It tasted really good. Waiting time is too long and simple dishes like sandwiches were not available for children or even child friendly meals . Service by waiters were also not up to scratch. I hope to give a better review when next i visit. If you are not a fan of really large meals make sure you put some in a pack to take home as the portions are very large.

I had their local jollof rice (picure below) when i went there. Trust me people, my taste buds had the time of their lives!!! The meal was so delicious i regretted not eating there all the days i spent in abuja cos i found out about this spot the day before i left; sad! My husband had their grilled croaker fish and vegetable and that was really good too. The interior is really peaceful; soft music playing and art on the walls. Great staff. Also, they can have your food delivered to you if you cant make it down there. The restaurant opens by 9am daily except on sundays when they open up by 1pm. This is a superb place to bring family to have local dishes thats why Im giving them all my stars.

Celebrated a friends 40th birthday. It was fun but had to leave very early. Something about staying after 10pm attracting separate charges. Over all the food tastes great.

They have good art collections for art lovers. but my experience wasnt good at the restaurant, there are flies disturbing your meal.I Literally drank a cup of water with a fly in it .

Spice Platter is a great place. Obviously, their food is awesome, but I thought that paying in advance for buffets will make them drop a bit of quality, but no. Quality was maintained.

My wife insisted we had to dine at this restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious.However, its obvious the current pandemic had hit the restaurant quite hard. It was empty and the staff werent as enthusiastic as they were when the Missus dined there in 2019.In addition, harmattan isnt an excuse not to dust properly.

Food was very vanilla for a place called Spice Platter. Had lamb chops and it was basically fried meat seasoned only with salt. I was there for the spices!Staff could do with a refresher to take your service up to 5 🌟. Include your cashier or ??manager as attitude/service was very pedestrian.Otherwise, great ambience and a lovely view from our seat by the window.

The Glass doors give you a view of the outside while you are seated.Immediately I sat, I was given a copy of the Menu! The prices 😳😯 Its an upscale restaurant. I intended to settle for something small, so, I b cooked on the waiter and was told, each order is a la carte and wait time is 35 minutes 😯😳I had just about 10-15 minutes to spare, so, I had to leave without ordering anything with a promise to be back.I like this place

Served bad spicy chicken. Been here several times and until now enjoyed my time here but my last visit sadly wasnt palatable. The chicken didnt smell bad but the taste was a bit odd. Mentioned to the waiter claimed it was the spice. Didnt eat anymore but the little I took have me a bad stomach after.

Heard so much about this restaurant and the pictures on instagram were really inviting. I am in Abuja today from Lagos and decided to go eat there.The ambiance is beautiful and the restaurant, neat.The wait staff were not particularly welcoming. Our waiter wasn’t proactive enough to recommend specials or tell us what their specialty is.The food, when it FINALLY came, was delicious. I had pounded yam and afang soup. The yam was real yam, not the dupe that poundo flour is. The portions were LARGE! I totally enjoyed my meal!They didn’t have child-friendly meals like sandwiches, burgers, pasta etc. That wasn’t good enough as we went with kids.The wait time was unnecessarily and annoyingly long. I feel the staff could do better if properly trained. The shoddy service and long wait time ruined what would have been an excellent experience.But the food...EXCELLENT!

Had a group dinner with professional colleagues and I really cant fault anything except the above average time it takes for orders to be ready. The taste compensates for that. Neat place with outdoor option too. Pricey menu though so not every Tom, Dick & Harry can afford to eat here. Theres also a nice art gallery beside it that is worth checking out.

1Star is for the ambience, 1 Star is for the food.Ive been there a considerable number of times and the service is terrible.This one time, I went there with a friend and we ordered 2 plates of Avocado Salad, smoky chicken and 2 glasses of juice. Not only did it take ages to get ready, the waiter pointedly refused to tell us that only one plate of salad would be available until the tail end.They rarely ever have everything on the menu.Its a lovely place to chill though, if you have the time to while away and little or no trouble deciding what else to eat when what you truly want is unavailable.
