A good spot to get native south western dishes. One of the few Amala spots that delivers. The service could be more efficient. The food is affordable, well cooked and moderately spicy. During rush hour there are queues. For this branch parking is limited and access can be difficult especially when it rains.
This restaurant serves a wide variety of food aside Amala. Let the name not miss lead you (like it did me) into thinking it’s just Amala that is served here.I enjoyed the meal which is relatively cheaper and fresh in comparison to eating from Nicon Luxury where I had lodged. Yes, incase you are asking, it’s just a stone throw and a short walk from Nicon luxury hotel. The egusi soup was delicious and 2 portions were just enough.
Honestly, I prefer the Ojuelegba in Gwarinpa to this. The pepper sauce wasnt fresh and it was burnt too hence spoiling the taste taste the meal I got.I was too angry to get a pic of my meal but I asked one of the girls to pack it for me. I would see what I can do to remedy the meal in my kitchen.I got 4 wraps of pounded yam and egusi soup.I just checked my gallery and just saw the pictures I got before I got in sadly.🥲
Make sense place, try the jollof or rice and beans asides the excellent Amala, you gonna love it.
Cool...The foods were nice.I eat goat meat @#500
The food here is always on point, at least in my experience. And the best part is you dont have to wait because its always ready. Its one of my favourite places to pick up food when Im starving and I need to eat immediately.
Good and relatively cheap place to eat local meals
Good place, great food. They stayed up till 9 there about and it wasnt noisy
Nice meal very poor service from the staff
A wonderful place to be. Just like its name. But very serene unlike Lagos.
Serene and beautiful place. Courteous staff. Kudos!
Great place you can have any available food of your choice 😊🙂😊.
Loved every bit of it. Their jollof rice tasted like heaven and it relatively affordable.
They are good but not the best, with good and moderately affordable price compared to others in the same category and neighborhood. I will sure eat there again if I have the opportunity.
The place was not too crowded at the time I was there however covid protocol was almost non existent. The staff are cordial however mistakes were made in my order probably because customers were shouting their orders. They may need a more organised system where one person takes the orders and passes it on to servers. The portions are satisfactory at least to me and pricing is affordable.
I visited the area 11, garki branch for the second time since it was opened. Just reminded me why I didnt come back since my last visit. Food isnt so superb and then it was cold. Service time was slow too. But I believe a lot can be done positively
Cool place, neat and food is fair...
Amala at its peak. Lovely meal
Food affordable space seems to be running down. Watch your step the floor isnt even at some point( inside) so you dont spill your food 😜. Its time for a new story they need to keep it fresh
The place is good in terms of cleanliness, well arrange.
The place is neat, food is excellent but the place is hot. They need to get air conditioners for the place
Very good food and affordable, the food are in variety, typically Nigerian dishes. Good customer service and the environment is alway clean
Lovely meal i had...also pocket friendly
Its a very cool place beside NTA HTQRS Abuja FCT.
Good and affordable meals but the lady manning the area 11 call/order telephone line has the most horrible customer service attitude.I recommend you walk in and get your meals rather than order as long as the lady is handling the calls.Their rice and ofada sauce is fantastic and the amala is top notch.
Great & affordable food, very good customer service.Would recommend!
Nice and organized, foods great too.
Bought amala with ewedu and goat meat, and the soup & meat were spoilt so badly people could smell it soon as they walked into the kitchen. Only reason this gets 2 stars is because the jollof rice I bought was nice.
Great food, extra long queue and service not so good.
The amala was nice the soup gbegiri and ewedu was delicious. And there is also a shoe shop in the place. Really cool place. Great service too.
Best party jollof rice in this town, well that Ive had. Affordable prices and good food. 3 stars because their service can be abysmal sometimes.
Ojuelegba Amala points houses the best chefs that cooks Nigeria Southwestern delicacies in Abuja Municipal Area Council. They have a way they perfectly cook all the beans meal on their menu ranging from Gbegiri, beans Portage, beans and rice, moimoi, etc. The homely atmosphere gives you the right feel while eating their tasty food. Apart from their brand Meal(Amala and Abula), they also cook other foods like boiled yam, Portage yam, pounded yam, semolina, jollof rice, white rice, fried rice, etc. They have average parking space and wheelchair parking and access into the building...Situated upstairs is their VIP section and their outdoor sit out...
Food was ok and quite affordable
Nice place to have good meal at a reasonable amount.
Definitely local dishes as you would like it
First time here. Waited 34 minutes. Did not get served. Staff appeared disenchanted and yet confused.I didnt get served because I wanted take away packs. We were a couple of us waiting. We kept being told packs were coming... but alas, no packs. And they only had Titus fish and turkey wings.I kept being told goat meat was coming...alas... no goat meat. Not a good first experience
Their amala and begri soup is delicious
W it is situated in Area 11 Garki Abuja. It is basically an African restaurant.
The food was very good when they first started which was a few years ago but now its not so good anymore. The only thing I still enjoy from them is the yam porridge
Food was nice, but there was a bit of disconnection or should I say lack order between the ordering points and payment point and it was a bit stuffy in there
They have a good food here.
A very good for native food
Their meals are superb & affordable
Ojuelgba restaurant is a nice place to eat food even with two hundred naira you can eat, so for me ojuelgba Amala point okay.
Okay food, but service can be MUCH better.
At first I thought it was just an ordinary sit out Bukka, but this place is wonderful. The painting is playful. The food is excellent, eating area is lovely. I could say they have everything (except Chinese anyway ).They have:Rice(white, jollof, fried, ofada)Spaghetti,Swallow (Pounded yam, Amala, Eba, Semovita, Fufu) and lots more.Food is affordable and very very delicious.
Good layout, good food.Good they open on a Sunday, saved a hungry man I was at the time. 😂😂
Good food.. but sometimes fried rice too oily and Jellof rice too peppery
It is the best place to be because of the taste and quality of food.
A restaurant that cooks tasty meals.
It was wonderful and the direction from the map made it easy to get there
I enjoyed the rice n beans plus the pepper sauce
Nice food, spacious. Affordable prices. Having all sort of meals, from fried egg to amala
Meals here are inexpensive and delicious compared to most eateries in this location. Please do not allow name of the eatery deceive you 😅😅, they are not only into local dishes as the name implies because they also serve intercontinental dishes as well. Good ambience plus the staff are nice and friendly.
You can get local food here. Its a nice place
It was nice yoruba food experience
Good food, very small portions.
They have delicious food.
So I ordered Amala with Ewedu soup and goat meat.First of, the food was served all wrong. The stew was too much and it drowned the amala. That shouldnt have been a bad thing, but it was, because the stew + soup (stoup) was tasteless and cold. Dogs nose cold. The amala was hot, but the stoup rendered it lukewarm.Amala is best eaten hot hot!It wasnt a good experience and I shant be repeating it!
Top top meals served here
I love this place, theres no time I go there that I wont see my favorite iyan...... Lol
Neat environment, good food and very affordable
Nice seat out for meals with loved ones
Its okay. Local cuisines, as the name goes, mostly Yoruba tribe recipes. Rush hours are 12.00 noon to 2.00pm
Awesome. Sales point is usually overcrowded at afternoon and evening periods though.
Sumptuous,. Delicious 😋 meals and most affordable.
Nice spot for traditional meals....the sitting arrangements need some work...
Great local dishes
Good meals are served and sold here. It was an awesome experience.
Opens 24/7 Fridays & Saturdays. Delicious delicacies..Hot amala combo.
Tasty food options at a very affordable price.
Soup was cold.
Nice variety of food
I walked in to get food for someone so I cant really say how it tastes or take lots of pictures but the place is ok, has all types of local dishes that are affordable. It offers this point and buy what you want. There is take away and dine in. There is enough parking space and beautiful african graffiti or paintings on the wall that gives the place this afro-hip hop vibe. From the aroma of the food, Im sure it will be great.
Wonderful and nice food here.
They have a variety of Naija foods to choose from and they are tasty and affordable.
Tasty and delicious food.
Very good food, give your lagos vibes
The working mans lunch. Always hits the spot.
Its a simple restaurant offering more like a typical Nigerian home flavored food
A nice eatery
Always pleased to be here.
This place is good value for money! You get variety of food at competitive prices, plus they are delicious!
Never disappoints. Hot food on the go.
