Still the king of places to eat grilled fish in Abuja. The fun is sitting around the fire. The women take their time to grill the fishes till all the ingredients simmer into them. The icing is how cheap the fishes are and the drinks are sold at pump price. I never get tired of going back no matter the number of tushed places I visit to eat fish.

A lovely barbecue spot majorly...grilled fish,Nkwobi, pepper soup, Isi ewu goat head dish, fried potato chips, wine, beer, liquor... croaker fish, cat fish, Tilapia fish and much more.The air usually Smokey with different aroma of spices, sauces burning in the air...from so many grills to choose from.Always a delicious experience.

Its located in one of the biggest Military formations, entry is 100 if you are driving. All the Operators shut down by 10, the drinks are pretty affordable @500naria per bottle, whole the fish is super cheap. 1,500-2,000 for Cat Fish, and 2000-2500 for Croaker, fried potatoes) not of the French Fries type) comes at 400per plate.The fish is good, will have to visit another time and spend more time exploring to adjugde it the best fish in FCT. But its certainly the cheapest.Also the vendors have a very big area where all of them roast fish.Overall for my first experience 3 stars

Well, would you want to eat freshly grilled fish at pump price without considering serenity or otherwise of where you sit?If yes, this is your place. Relatively safe but you have to struggle to get a parking space sometimes.The shops start closing as from 9 pm. So the earlier you go, the better.

The grilled fish meal is the major highlight of this place. If you want a place where you can sit, have good conversation with friends and stay as late as possible, this is not where you want to go. Their fish is really good and they have loads of vendors. Ill say its a place you just get your fish and take it with you. If you dont mind super busy places, loud music and the closing at 9 (the soldiers shut the place down by 9) then this is your spot.

Abacha barracks is an excellent place to relax and enjoy life, away from the stress of work and life. They have amazing fries, delicious fishes, tilapia, catfish, you name it. I assorted drinks too. The soldiers are friendly too but still be careful tho ☺
