Poorly maintained facility. Room, Towel, bedsheets and pillow cases, all smelling damp. Had to buy air freshener to manage the room. Air conditioner sounding like generator and I had to put it off most of the time so as to be able to sleep. Even after I complained it was still not fixed. Workers appeared civil and helpful but I just couldnt wait to leave because of the smell in the room. Buffet breakfast had minimal options, so no need expecting much here if you are particular about what you eat My room was 211.

I love this hotel because of its simplicity. Located in the heart of Utako, close to a major road, close to a major market, close to different bus parks. I love their food, the conference hall is good for those with wedding or training space. Strongly recommend a stay here

Room 206. The light in bathroom had fallen off. A tile in the bedroom was peeled off. The wall was destroyed with nail holes they didnt care to fill. My bathroom had no towels. When I finally got towels they gave me ratty ones. A threadbare towel. I was wondering if it was for the floor or my body.The telephone didnt work till I went downstairs to ask for help. Did I also include that the elevator wasnt working so I had to walk up and down??Ive been in Kanem suites before and things werent so bad. My friend who recommended liked his experience years ago. I think theres a mismanagement now. Maybe a new manager? But I dont think Ill ever return.

This is a very nice place to visit. The location is secure and Serene. The reception is wide and workers are friendly. It is one of the best hotels in Abuja that I know.

Oh Kanem Suites!We were off to a great start, only for one individual (she identified as the General Manager) to single handedly ruin the experience so bad we had to check out the following morning.Heres the back story:My team and I needed a place to accommodate 10 persons for 4 nights to facilitate ease of coordination for a conference lasting as long.In the week leading up to our intended dates, having called and spoken with someone in decision making authority (not the GM) previously, I visited the establishment personally and met with the most personable lady- Ms. Ene, (I believe is her name) who from all indications KNEW her job to the letter.She was affable and ready to be of service, it was a pleasant meeting and I looked forward to using the facility. Other members of staff, were equally pleasant.On check in, the welcome and allotment was really good, I immediately made reservations for the coming month too.The nightmare began when my team members began to arrive and I was called downstairs only to learn that our reservations had been given out!Of 10 reservations on three of us who checked in earlier had rooms. They decided to second my team members to a different establishment...First implication of this is it interfered majorly with our efficiency as a team for that evening. People who were worn out from flights wasted more time learning they had no rooms, waiting for alternative arrangements...it was madness.In the midst of all these came the manager and my, did she make a bad situation worse?? Her attitude was very rude while she tried to play out an oxymoron of being very rude and trying textbook politeness at the same time.I saw red!The resultant efforts at sorting out funds retrieval and such, I still will commend the lady Ene for her efforts. I indeed felt sorry that she was in the fix but she was valiant.I hope the Management of Kanem Suites will do whats right for their business - put round pegs in round holes please.No pictures, I didnt take any.PS.Their breakfast layout left a lot to be desired, I mean who planned and approved the menu I saw laid out?Custard, palm oil cooked beans, boiled plantains, tomatoes/onions sauce and boiled eggs!Really??Seriously??

One of the most and highly rated Suites in the capital with the best luxuries and fantastic dishes.

I rate it 5 star because of the price and standard.. high standard with low price. 13,000 Naira a night. Then weekend is 10,500 Naira. And the rooms is super beautiful
