Grand Cubana Hotels has a pure test of excellence with luxury. It is a place that offers excellent choice for travelers visiting Abuja, offering many visitors with so many choices of enjoying their stay.With its spaciousness and large parking space, couple with lovely accomodation, special conference halls, restaurants, swimming pool and a lots of other things.Very affordable and in a good and lovely environment.

If I could rate this place lower, I would. Where do I even begin with what is wrong with this place?The bed is so hard that I am literally sleeping on the floor. When I asked the front desk if there was anything they could do, they showed me another room to show that all their beds are like that.The aircon in my bedroom turns off every hour but when it is on, it blows warm air regardless of the setting. Again I asked reception if they could ask someone to look at it. Well Im still waiting.The front door doesnt lock too. I had someone come walking into my room earlier with their bag and then I had to explain this was my allocated room. So I have jammed furniture against the door now.None of the windows close properly and it sounds like this place is on top of a club so I will be attempting to sleep with earplugs in and my head under a pillow.I am actually staying here to help a colleague decide if this hotel will be used in future for all the dignitaries and guests he brings to Abuja. That is a definite no.If you can avoid this place, do so. In fact, dont even drive near this hotel. Go stay somewhere else at all costs!!

My neighbourhood hangout spot embedded in this hotel complex. When you just want to keep it a few notches below full flex. Great atmosphere.

The ambiance of the hotel was calm and serene even though it was located in the heart of town. This was particular to me as I was there for a meeting in their board room which was spacious and satisfying.

Theyve improved greatly from the last time I lodged here in 2020.. Their food,customer care & house keeping are fop notch I give them a 99% mark.. The remaining 10% removed is cause theres always room for improvement

We spent two nights here, I will say it was excellent, judging by how responsive the management were to our needs and challenges.Large space, warm people.Grand Cubana is relatively not a new hotel. so giving it age, I must commend the magt. For its maintanace culture.It is superbly located, so movements in and around the city wouldnt pose much challenge.As for the rooms, it all depends on two things, your pocket and your taste.The only challenge I had was with the bathroom. The one I stayed gets water logged as soon as you enters the shower. I noticed that the location of the shower is the sole problem of this and is something the management can fix.Didnt have the opportunity to try out thier meals so I would probably not comment on that.The pool side caught my attention and the roof bar looks exquisite and I love it.I love how they played with the light and all.Other services offered I noticed includes a saloon.If may I suggest, they should probably add a mini car wash for their customers. It will also go a long way to add value to its brand.All in all, it is what a try. Cheers!

Okay guys, the Grand Cubana Hotels.Hmm... I’ve been to many different hotels here in Abuja alone and I know the difference between each not just from the look of the hotel or its ambiance or location, but from the service offered to the restaurant, the valet, to the food, to the staffs and hot much dedication and attention they pay to a client. Grand Cubana although very lovely, situated in town- in the heart of Jabi- holds staffs with warm hearts and all smiles, but are not quick to respond. For instance driving into the hotel, there’s no valet to guide you in parking or helping you re-park your car, unless of course you’re blocking the entrance or you’re in the middle of the road, then will you see some of the security guards coming towards you.Now, going into the hotel to lodge or use their indoors bar which is quite cozy, there’s nobody at the entrance door to guide you, because I didn’t meet anyone at the door once it slid open and that’s a high security threat to me; because anyone can casually walk in and do anything and that’s scary. I’d loved there to have a security check at every entrance, just as they have at the gate.The pool restaurant(Bubbles by Cubana) is quite lovely, you can choose to sit downstairs beside the pool or upstairs overlooking the pool and the parking lot. Now, I’d advise you go upstairs, because flies will torment you in the day time and mosquitoes at night. But upstairs, just by the left upon entering the pool side, is much better. Like I mentioned 85% of the staffers are quite warm and friendly. I must recommend their supervisor Mr. Emmanuel Ebuka, who walks around making sure things are in place and is quite friendly too. Also the pool guide, who never left the pool side as long we were in there; also a charmer, we liked him.The pool is very neat and it’s not too deep, as it can accommodate learners and pros.Also there’s a cyber cafe and salon for haircuts and more rightly beside the pool.The rest room is very conducive and lovely. The DJ is very good too, but music starts from 4pm. The pool restaurant doesn’t run a 24hrs service. The food is delicious and I might I say, the barbecue fish I had there is actually the best so far I’ve had.Not so bad a spot I’d say. Hotel can be easily identified from the road.The facility houses a gym, bar, restaurant with a large parking space. The location is also properly sited to many points of business interests within the city.Rooms are fairly large, beddings are clean but you can tell it has been ages its in use.

A lifestyle experience

During our stay, the lift/elevator wasnt working. Parking also wasnt largely available certain times of day, and rooms are quite small. However, their staff here are warm, room was clean, and its close enough to the mall, for those visiting.

Nice hotel.Nice friendly staffs.Bit of a shame on the bathroom structure. Shower door was literally behind the door, which was already tight to open.Once you mange to get into the shower, the whole bathroom, main room becomes flooded from turning in the shower. So its another job to start mopping the floor.

The hotel is old but its still bubbling with life.still unique and original.

They dont take record property, wasted my time because of bills I dont know where it came from. It was embarrassing
