Temporarily unavailable for bookings. Golden gate hotel is way more than the conventional 3 star hotel; however, they seem to currently have management issues.

Very poor for now because it is not functioning and have swimming pool and game center anymoreThe only people you see in the hotel are mostly Chinese.

Golden Gate has a Chinese restaurant in Wuse. It is a good place to be. The food was palatable and sumptuous. As a Nigerian ,pls ask for light seasoning. You will thank me later.

Havent actually stayed here but I live right beside. Doubt they still provide accommodation for guests, its more like a board and lodging for asians in Nigeria on business. One thing I dont like though is the dirty water that runs from drain inside out to the road and their methods of waste disposal.A new club/lounge just opened there and I guess its decent...

Not what it used to be. Food is just okay now and not as good as it was a few years ago. The service is also not great and when you have trouble communicating with the staff and management, it makes the whole experience less enjoyable. I would still go back though because the food is still better than most places in Abuja.

A neat hotel in Wuse. But the entrance gate is obscure.

Poor customer service. Food was served late and wrong orders were brought out. Bill was in Chinese and their defence was that ... thats how its always been. No translator available and floor manager pretended not to hear a word of english but could speak surprisingly good pidgin english when pissed

A landmark in zone 5, Wuse. It is managed by Asians and well maintained. Just recently club life got to the area by name Aramis... Yes the same Aramis in Wuse II has got an annex... A quiet place with good security and lovely views from atop

Simple and very quiet.... Peace heaven

Great outdoor grill, serving fish in different forms, catfish, tilapia, croaker grilled to perfection. Served with sides of fried potatoes or yams, and AMDI Grillz signature tomatoe and onion sauce..

Rates hover at around 18k Naira a night....Rooms were recently repainted in 2011 and are quite clean. But with 4 wall mounted lights, the rooms are a bit dark at night.. Air-cons are split type and are either pointing directly to the bed or pointing to the table. Water pressure is quite low on the higher floors but a trick I discovered is to remove the shower head when bathing, it makes it easier.Staffs are friendly but breakfast might be an issue for those that intend to stay for long periods of time. Breakfast only consist of noodles, soybean milk, steamed chinese bread, white porridge, plain toast, chinese pancakes, and vegetables. Apparently, this menu has never changed for the past 4 years. Typical amenities like Internet, TV, soap and towels are provided..If you plan of staying here, try and pick rooms on the 4th floor. Even numbered rooms face the east, odd numbers room face the west.Chinese restaurant downstairs, I have no qualms about the food. Edible but not delicious.Bus stop is just behind the hotel, along the main road. Wuse market is a stones throw away.In short, its a clean hotel, but its not a great hotel..
