The federal secretariat was built with a beautiful architectural design but poor maintenance is limiting the beauty from perfectly glowing. Its a huge office complex hiding different ministries, departments, offices, banks, car parking lots, the reception at the entrance has no one attending or present to respond to people coming in. There is security presence at the entrance of the building but the main entrances are locked limiting access to just one gate.

This is the phase one of the Federal secretariat complex buildings which is housing head offices of different ministries and Parastatals of the Federal Government in Abuja such as Ministry of Niger Delta, National Agricultural Land Development Authority, Institute of Chemists of Nigeria, etc. It is a multi-storey building situated in Central Business District, very close to eagle square. This is that building at federal secretariat that carries the Nigerian coat of arms at the top of the roof. This is really a busy area on a daily basis from Monday to Friday except at weekends and public holidays

The federal high Court, is a place for daily hearing of matters, filling of new cases, swearing of affidavit, alternative dispute resolution and settlement of matters. Its has a very large parking space, which non workers pay for parking, its has tight security at each entrance, the architectural design of building is unique.

It is ihe home of all government offices, lots of people work here, all security agents office is represented here. It is the central point of the city so most people come here. The security are always ready to help give directions to aid visitors.

One Stop Center for Civil and Public Service, located in the Central Business District of Abuja, adjoining National Assembly, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and Presidential Villa. Urgent need for renovation and facilities upgrade for conducive work environment.

Federal Secretariat Abuja is Abujas haven of all major ministeries and agencies of the Federal Government. The secretariat houses some of the major includes Ministry of Education, Ministry of finance etc. Office of the Deputy Director of Press, Ministry of Education. Wheelchair entrance and parking space available. Availability of business centers and photographers for those who do instant pictures.

Activities is kicking off after covid lock down

I was here for certificate attestation and had to visit twice all the way from Lagos.Ministry of Foreign collects your documents in the morning since they close at 1pm and only gives it to you at 3pm or past then when the embassies have closed. Yet they are willing to fast track if you are willing to pay 1000 NGN per document.

Most congested place with too much traffic

Close to Eagle Square,few km to National Assembly.

Boring and unserious.

Largely occupied by Government prastatal

This is where 80% of Ministering and Agencies operate

Was okay as the Security officials were ready to help in giving directions. It wasnt great because the bureaucracy problems that exist in the Civil service is very evident here.

They wifi connection is fast

Where all of NIGERIA gathers literally. The Govt’s home. You only go there if you work there or have business there. VIO/FRSC love to make money here. Go with a driver or cab. Parking can be crazy unless you do pay to park. Traffic around there can be a bane also

Electricity was a problem for two days straight, it was quite embarrassing to witness. The guards were active and helpful with directions though.

You will find a lot of Ministries there.

If youre going there for attestation, be mentally and financially prepared. Also get there early so you can be attended to on time (Early as in between 9:00am to 10:00am)
