The class difference in Nigeria is significantly high and continues to rise. This has seen the under privileged and underserved majority denied access to the same opportunities for growth, education, work, access to health care as the rich. Inequality continues to grow as merit is replaced by nepotism, cronyism and corruption in an environment that has failed to enforce consequences for bad behavior. It’s to this end the Citizens of Impact Foundation was birthed as a social justice organization with the primary purpose of bridging this gap and promoting the interest of ordinary, nameless and faceless citizens with an ensured level playing field across the different social classes and provide opportunity for social mobility by promoting change through advocacy, grassroots reorientation, civic education and community relations from grassroots level to the top.
