The place was easy to locate
Nysc secretariat is just behind zone 3 shopping complex, spacious enough to accommodate over 500 people and above. Presence of trees to provide shade when the sun is scorching. Presence of kiosk and shops to help you get snacks and light refreshments. Corp members come here for registration and documentation, monthly data capturing too. Some even come here for their community development services. Environmental friendly place I must say.
Its a lovely environment

This place is one of the main NYSC area where corpers come here to do area registration for their place of primary assignment (PPA) once they finish their 3 weeks camp orientation program, community development service (CDS) activities and NYSC monthly clearance. It is also nearby a primary school and you will normally find children playing around in the field or just passing by.There are some shops that sell food and drinks. There is also a printing shop which is mostly needed when doing registration for the first time. When registering for the PPA and CDS for the first time, the process could be a bit stressful or easy depending on the crowd of people there. However, the process should take less than 2 hours. It is recommended to always ask around when unsure or unclear of something.Depending on which CDS you are assigned to, you will be set a day every week for the rest of the service year to come take part do the activities related to your CDS.For NYSC monthly clearance, you need to come any day of the first week of the month to do biometric to clear yourself for the month. You need to submit a clearance letter from your PPA and signed by your CDS officer to do the biometric. It is a necessary process to get your allowance of the month. In some days (if unlucky) it can be very stressful due to the long queue by the corpers and hot weather. It is recommended to come early in morning (7-8 am) and be the first to wait on queue even when the officer in charge of doing biometric is not around yet. That is if you want to be done and leave fast. You could just hang around if you have friends.
Call your LGI before going to avoid wasting your time
Map almost got me lost
Its Spacious.... But still need more Infrastructure
Theres barely a parking space as the road is usually busy during working hours and clearance due to the office location being situated within a school.
The structure is beautiful and the environment is very neat.
Service year was with great and kind reception from our leaders
Usually very busy with corp members. Not very clean
Its a zonal office for Corps members serving under the wuse zone. Zonal registrations are done here. Applications for leave, travel permit etc can be submitted here
