I didnt really get good shots because I was worried about the security, I was worried that taking pictures would get me in trouble, maybe its banned or something, so I was really cautious and took unclear pictures but next time I would try to get better pictures. From the little I saw, it was well organised and beautiful, military personnel at several post giving instructions, directions also. Although I didnt get to see the whole place, I was more occupied at the cooperative sector which is not really far from the main entrance.

Poor service for a place called the headquarters. Staffs are working with no sense of urgency. Lackadaisical in approach. Poor network here and there. You basically spend a whole day there achieving nothing.A total overhaul and restructuring is needed

The Nigeria Immigration Service should be informed that it’s almost impossible to reach the Nigeria Embassy, Berlin on the phone and through email. When you manage to do, you are immediately greeted with their lack of professionalism and gross incompetency that are overwhelmingly embarrassing. On passport issues, it’s incomprehensible why the 64-page passport booklet is being forced on Nigerians. Where and when stocks are well kept, the 32-page passport will not finish without being noticed. And if, by error or omission, this eventually happened, one would have expected a smarter decision of making two of the 32-page from one of the 64-page passport. All of us are not frequent travelers, who need the 64-page passport. As a matter of fact, the 32-page is even too much for some of us, to such an extent that only few pages (between 1 and 6) are used before the passport expires. Many of us work very hard for every euro/cent/naira/kobo we earn. It is, thus, expected that we make wise financial decisions, which exclude paying $125 for 64-page passport when we often do not exhaust the pages of the 32-page passport booklet (which costs $65) before it expires. It doesnt matter if the decision/fault of making only the 64-page passport booklet available is that of the Nigeria Embassy and Consulate, Germany or that of Abuja, its cruel, insensitive, unacceptable and wrong, and the needful should be done immediately. This avoidable disservice and unjust exploitation of Nigerians has to stop forthwith!

This place is terrible. If you come here to do your international passport be prepared to spend/waste your whole day here. I had someone helping me out and they were still extremely slow. The immigration staff are in absolutely no rush to get anything done. Being the immigration headquarters, I feel they really need to revamp this place, introduce better I.T. and cut out the unbelievably high number of inefficiencies. Also be prepared, staff will try and see what they can chop from you in order to speed up your application.

This is located in Sauka village along airport road. Lying next to the Nigerian Civil Defence headquarters, Its about 15mins drive or less from the airport. Two major buildings (Jospeh Udeh Glass House and Alhaji Shehu Shagari) serving as offices. These buildings are however not built with persons with limited mobility in mind. There is a free visitor car park (The officers would show you where to park). There are two banks in here where you can use the ATM.Service rendering is a slow so you have to be willing to spend a lot of time waiting for your international passport. However, sometimes you may be lucky to get it sooner than expected. Its a pot of Gold for the officers, a lot of persons pay for unofficial expedited services. So you have a lot of persons to contend with even if you pay for same. The prices are usually extortionate and not advisable. However, it takes an even longer time when you go through the right channel. Hopefully, this would change. It is a paramilitary zone, so you have to observe decorum everywhere. Generally amiable officers. There is a Mammy market where you can find restaurants, business centres (only photocopy and passport photograph. You need to go outside the compound for computer related services like typesetting and printing), tailors, etc. If you need to pray, there are two mosques and a chapel.
