The Federal Road Safety Corps is a Nigerian is the Nigerian Government agency with statutory responsibilities for road safety administration in Nigeria. It is located @ no 3 Maputo Road, Wuse Zone 3 Abuja. It is found in between the Federal Character Commission and opposite the Fouad Lababidi Islamic Academy Mosque. It has an entrance test that leads into the building which faces west. The walls of the building are painted blue and a little touch of white in between just like the colours of the agency. Within it premises a lot of the agencys vehicles and motorcycles are parked.

The Frsc zone 3 headquarters is really busy especially with the NIMC NIN registration going on right now. Theres a front entry but Google maps directed through the back so I walked in through the Abuja shopping mall to get to the front.Also ask questions to the officers you see outside regarding why youre there.They can show you how to go the long or the expedited way (if theres any) for your particular issue.Place is very hot too, also wear your face mask (in these Covid times).

Met my age-long friend and brother TJ today at the FRSC National Headquarters, Zone 3, Abuja. Wow! What a memorable reunion after a couple of decades. Thank you, Jesus.

With their official vehicles burning on the roads because they dont carry fire extinguishers, to some other seen overloaded on the highways, one wonder what exactly this organization is all about. Because they dont seem to practice what they hold other citizens responsible for.FRSC officers are some of the most annoying government officials you will meet on Nigerian highways. They do everything but their primary role of enforcing safety on our roads. Many a times, they are the direct cause of accidents on the highway.However, this organization does a good job at trying to rescue victims of road mishap. At other times, they help manage traffic gridlock on federal roads.
