Serene environment, well furnished and to die for aesthetics, it’s not such a huge space indoors however there’s sitting outside. You can also work and read a book there or better still chill over their nice array of coffee/tea and to die for crepes.Staff is cheerful and attentive. Orders come just in time and doesn’t drag. Music policy suits the vibe of the cafe as well. Love that there’s a lot of natural light coming through. It’s a breathe of fresh air in the heart of Abuja.
Think about a bookstore, tea shop, sit out/meeting place, snack bar and garden all in one place and youd be talking about The Cube Café. This place offers all of the above and it is simply fantastic, clean and welcoming: the ambience is unique. Artistically and brilliantly furnished, it offers a warm atmosphere for individual and group outings.Could have given a 5-star rating, but for the fact that the book selection is lean (and pricey) and the environment OUTSIDE the café is kind of messed up due to ongoing construction 🚧.
I legit havent been to a place with better Scenery! And oh, the amount of books on display is just mind blowing. Library feeling with a bit of zang! Awesome place for a first date! Awesome Lemonade! (request the pink one, although it cost more than the normal one, youll appreciate it) We met the owner, and hes got a vibe! According to him, theyve got events each Saturday of the week and its fun-filled. An experience Id surely recommend.
Very nice place, quite, when you can work, study, or just enjoy your cup of coffee.
Intellectual environment, books and coffee great place to play chess. The food is delicious and they also do delivery. The cocktails are refreshing and theres also a nice picket garden and an amazing art work. Its also a great place to focus on work or to write an assignment. If you are interested in networking and meeting new people then its also a great place to be.
Nice and cozy Cafe. Its got this hipster look that I love so much, the food is amazing (although they dont serve full meals, its a cafe). Love the ambience and the customer service is top notch. The ham and cheese sandwich was pretty good but I particularly loved the Quesadilla & salad (its a must have). Its a really nice relaxation spot, the music is cool and you also have the option of playing board games with friends or reading a book by yourself, amongst other things. I would definitely be going back for more visits.
The cube cafe was an interesting place to be, at first the outside was discouraging cause it seemed unkept so I assumed it was closed till I went closer. The ambience is great and the service was top notch. My food came in good time and their tea was nice. They have this thing where you can come in and switch books with them so you can read new ones and I think that’s amazing. What I would suggest is they clean up the outside and revamp their restroom. Was a great visit in total.
The cube cafe is a place I enjoyed. It has a very serene environment mixed with a retro vibe. Their coffee is a delight. I strongly recommend anyone that goes there, to get a sample of their coffee.
A very beautiful place for hanging out or meet up with friends and family. Nature friendly environment, nice landscape, safe for adults and children, they offer tea and coffe. You get to read good books each time you visit or bring your old book to swap. Located at the extreme end inside Millennium park. Well mannered staff. Well structured place i must say.
FANTASTIC PLACE! Loved every minute I spent there. The owner is such a great person with a cool personality. The coffee is 100%. The carrot cake literally melts in the mouth and isnt too sweet. The place is so artsy with some rustic-boho vibes. They also have free wifi. I didnt use it though but Im told its great. I would definitely visit again.
Cube is my favourite place in Abuja. A great environment to work/study in and a great place to meet with friends to hangout. The totally unique setting, perfect menu, friendly staff, and, not to mention, the best cup of coffee you can find in this city make this a spot not to be missed.
This spot is an artsy space that can get anyone’s creative juice flowing. It’s located inside maitama amusement park.It serves as a pop up art exhibition. They accommodate exhibitions for paintings, photography and performing arts. They organize poetry and book reading clubs from time to time.I definitely got a gypsy vibe immediately I got in. So if that’s your thing, this space will work for you. It’s also perfect for working and chilling at the same time.Check out the pics and videos for more info.
One of my favourite coffee shops in the world, the second I walked in. Really delicious coffee, a lovely food menu with the essentials and the most tranquil space, covered in colours and art and plants. The staff are so welcoming and friendly - you feel right at home. The coffee is so perfect, not sure what blend they use but it’s like a super delicious speciality coffee. Thanks so much !
A happy little artsy heaven. It’s a wonderful cafe tucked away at the back entrance of Maitama Amusement Park. It’s away from all the noise and activity of the park and an amazing space to unwind, create and even get work done in.They are the official distributors of Tea Pigs (a lovely English tea brand) so you can trust that they have an excellent selection of great teas to make your selections from. And if you’re a coffee lover, they brew fresh delicious coffee too. They have a nice selection of sandwiches, salads and sweet and savory bites on their menu. The space is warm and cozy and please look out for all the art you’re surrounded by once you get in. The interior is nicely furnished and you feel right at home in the space. They host yoga classes on Sunday morning of your looking for an easy way to relax. They also host all sort of creative events each month so look out for the flyers for these when you pop in.P.s: I hear their carrot cake is a real winner!
Quaint, artsy café tucked away within the Amusement Park. From the furniture to the lettering of the menu, you could tell thought and care were not spared. Great place to read a book or better write one and the service is affordable.
Nice place with lovely deco, ambiance and decent food. Was a bit uncomfortable with the lack of strict adherence to the COVID 19 protocol. Customers were allowed in without temperature checks or masks. Got a spot outside and totally e joked my time there.
Great place, I liked it
Love the ambience! The coffee is gooooooood!!! Highly recommended.
Awesome place. The serenity of the cafe is bliss! I love 😘
Great place to be.
The cube had a great atmosphere... I found it really chilled, I could work while also enjoying the sense of community. My wife loved the ham and cheese sandwich.I totally recommend.
Love coming here. Perfect ambience, kind people and good food + music always. Extra plus if you like books, they have a great selection!
Love the cosiness and the carrot cake hmmmm
My go to getaway spot. I can always count on having a place to work, relax, eat good food and meet like minds. Great community!
Cool place for a calm hang out. They serve cocktails too and their pancakes are great. The spot is a bit hidden though.
The place and atmosphere is beautiful and all but the prices of the food is a bit too much for what one gets.
Great place to a have coffee work or study and chat. Gives me the same vibe as the little privately own coffee shops in Maida Vale London and in New York
Great place to think and work if youre a writer/artist or whatever but only on low traffic days and that being early in the morning soon after they open, which will be anytime between 10am - 12noon. On activity days, (and boy do they have an interesting line up!), they get a great deal of visitors/clients; it wouldnt be a great time to go there in search of a writers solace. Its also a great place to hangout with friends, talk on top of your voice and have a good laugh. The food is good; they have a variety of drinks, smoothies, coffee & special teas, pastries and breakfast options. And if youre a book lover (theyve got a good collection of books for sale mostly by Nigerian authors), they also have this exchange thing going on where you can contribute your old books and in exchange get to borrow a book(s) of interests to read. In addition it is a great place to read a book or more. Again only on low traffic days. It would be difficult to read when the place is jam packed with people and activity. It is very serene. And the ambience and ethnic decor are quite soothing. Their working days are Tues to Saturdays, 10am - 8pm, and on Sundays they open at 11am till 6pm.Theyre closed on Mondays. You can check them out on Instagram @thecubecafe.
Beautiful place with good coffee.
Very cosy, nice and picturesque. Also very quiet during weekday mornings. Its in the middle of Maitama amusement park so lots to see for kids. Liked the food. The pressed juice was great too. Loved the fact that they have art to appreciate and books to read. You can exchange your books for theirs too. Also they have a bunch of events regularly held there as well. All in all a great place.
Very great spot for quiet work, reading and chilling
SUPERB customer service but the food can be a bit hit or miss. I dont think the ingredients are always fresh, nor are they thinking oh one slice of bread cut into 4 pieces isnt really justifiable especially when we charge N2,500 for the sandwich. Otherwise I really like this space. Its in a really quiet (and kinda abandoned park) the cafe playlist is truly excellent. It helps you work. The seating is great. And did I mention the service? The owner whos always there + the other staff are always warm, smiling, even if I feel the prices are a bit of a rip off, I still go back.
A unique experience with a cozy atmosphere.
Serene and Artistic. Cool hangout
Nice Cafe
I have been looking forward to experiencing this place both for its music, mingling and food.Unfortunately i didnt get the presumed vibe. The outdoor music vibe was mix of boring and good. Luckily enough they held the really nice entertainers for last. With regards mingling, i was either antisocial or the people chose to hangout in clicks and thus i didnt come out feeling i made new acquaintances.Food on the other was just dissapointing. On going to the café, what was mostly available had to do with bread or pastry so i chose to do barbecue/suya. Unfortunately the suya just wasnt to my taste, it lacked the heat of pepper though the barbecue guy was nice enough. In the bar side, drinks where limited in choice. But asides this, the smiling service is something to applaud also the concept of such artistic gathering.
Okay, so straight to the point. I got here at about 10 am(?) and I was greeted by the owner. The ambiance is unique. You get the sense of being in a afro-futuristic location. Its easy to get lost in the aura of the place and by extension lose track of time.Almost every furniture is handmade; a variety from different African countries like Senegal. Its also a very good location for remote work on weekdays.I had their breakfast and it was a wonderful meal.I definitely will be visiting here often when I need to work remotely.Ten Over Ten recommend!
Cool place. A bit pricey though.
Loved their carrot care and the shop decor
I have been once, will not be returning. So the staff and owner whom I met were friendly. The decor is nice and I was able to get work done. However, their food is lousy and overpriced. I spent over N7000 and still left feeling hungry. I had to leave before finishing my work because I was too hungry to concentrate. Its not a bad work space but as a place to eat/drink, it falls short
Not really what I was expecting and not so much variety.
The best cafe in Abuja. The staff is very cordial and very helpful regarding events and just general knowledge about Abuja. Very calm and open place, with with a garden and amazing events. Big Up to the owners
Its small and cozy. A good place for thinking and working or even reading. It has good options for coffee. I did not try the food but it does not seem like a place to eat any major meal but only snacks My favourite part was the artistic quality that is presented. There is alot of appreciation and support for the fine arts.
Really lovely nice and relaxing cafe. Has the best Café latte I have tasted in Nigeria. Definitely worth a visit if youre a coffee person.
I went on a lunch meeting and it was my first time at Cube Café. The scenery is soothing to the eye - far from the regular or boring.Enjoyed a jug of pineapple juice, not too expensive and tasted fresh!
Great atmosphere, lovely service
Stunning cafe
Its a very beautiful environment. Creative wall arts and great, interesting variety of tea. Its Peng and classy
Great kwerky place in Abuja. It can be both peacefully quiet and lively. However it is expensive for Abuja, I wouldnt say the food is good value for money compared to other popular eateries in Abuja. Also there isnt much choice of foods. But I would still go as its a friendly and happy place.....
This place is magic to my soul!If I lived in Abuja, my book-loving spirit would reawaken in this place@thecubecafeI want to move to Abuja o!
Cube cafe is a place to discover. It boast of a quite & spacious area to relax, work or just have great conversations. Its children friendly too, although PG advised. There are a few events that happens here on a regular, which attracts Artsy Abuja crowd 😉. Sign up to get buzzed about their events.I should come back when I have tried the food, which is soon
Its okay
Really awesome place, the atmosphere is very relaxing, its my new favourite spot.
The burgers are simple and tasteful. Not too spicy. The owners are a lovely and beautiful couple. Very warm and welcoming. Perfect for reading.
Cozy, quiet, loads of coffee!
I love everything about this place. The owners were very friendly and polite! I will definitely visit again.
Really cute artsy décor and vibe. Staff are attentive and interesting to talk to. Its a great place to have a chilled lunch or hunker down mid afternoon with a cool book to read. Or you can choose from their eclectic bookshelf. Its definitely a one of a kind spot in Abuja!
The environment gives off pleasant, quaint vibes. Not noisy, trees outside. Inside is so welcoming; the people and decor. Lovely
Here’s a place that gives your the opportunity to grab your favorite tea or a cup of cappuccino and snug in with a book to read. I’m all bananas for their book club.
Cool place to hang out with your book or laptop. Great coffee too
Very lovely and cool for relaxation ,with other things like different varieties of coffee, cakes, lovely ambience, and good for art tourism. Use to host art exhibitions I think one a month
The smell, the music, the furniture and the food! All so amazing! I loved every second I spent.
Good tourist attraction
Lovely, lovely place. Friendly staff. Good Coffee.
I just love this place. Its for serious minded yet casual.
Its a really nice place. If youre looking for a place to have a nice coffee, feel at home and get some work done, thats where you want to go. They have games, a nice library, cozy sitting areas and the staff/owners are really nice. The pricing is fair, of course its not like your KFC and co definitely not, but its worth what you get. And theres WiFi there!
Cool spot. Good for co working too
Lovely experience
Quiet place to relax or read. Its awesome!
Very lovely cafe especially for book lovers...nice place to be...They have one of the best lattes I have had in Abuja
