This is the BEST CAFE I have been to in Abuja! The service is superb, their Wifi ACTUALLY works well and the ambience is everything. The decor is quaint, eccentric and just makes you feel comfortable (somehow) Since I discovered it, I have been there 3 times. It’s also a great place to network because you get to meet professionals, entrepreneurs and everyone just seems friendly there. They have 3 sections, the indoor seating, a room inside (that’s where the last two pictures are from) and a little outdoor seat out. On my first time there, I was welcomed so graciously that I knew they’d definitely be seeing me again. Plus they have so many loyal/return customers so chances are you might meet the same people there on your next visit (just like me).All their teas can be made cold upon request and their coffee is also pretty great. If you aren’t convinced by now to try it then that sucks for you.

Grounded CAFE the best I have been to so far in Abuja, they have unique and very rich menus of teas and coffees to select from, also the internet speed is superb.

Gosh! Its an absolutely beautiful serene environment. It has a slightly rustic fee to it. Quite neat, fast service and the staff are just so friendly.They have a smoking area.The frames on the walls are full of pun statements, and then the WiFi connection just topped it for me.I have absolutely no issue recommending this place to anyone looking for a quiet place to work from. The menu is affordable too.

Very cozy and private cafe located in a close in Wuse 2. The ambience is very nice and smells divine (if you love the smell of coffee shops). Its a good space to sit and get some work or reading done without much interruption. Coffee lovers will definitely enjoy this space.It has decent parking space but does not have wheelchair parking or a wheelchair accessible entrance.

Its a very cool place for you to get some work done while sipping a chilled or hot drink with some nice pastry/food.I personally love the random humour youll find on the walls.

Absolutely lovely. Nice rustic ambience with hilarious wall posts, great staff- very respectful, everyone was smiling and they are genuinely interested in how you like the meal. The menu is small, and the food is NNN but lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed their zobo tea- yum. I will be coming back very soon.

This café is my go to place for my “me and quiet time” in addition, my favourite book reading cafe. The ambience, serene and interior of this café makes you expand your mind, get inspired and think of endless possibilities while sipping your tea/coffee or having a meal. The only time you see me here with people, know it is strictly to discuss business.Coming into the café’s main entrance to your left is some of their menu garnished with an artistic representation, you can decide to have a sit out and enjoy the “fresh air” or proceed inside. At the main entrance is a sticker NO STUPID PEOPLE BEYOND THIS POINT I find this very exciting because I know when I enter, I will not be meeting with any stupid person after a long day from work or prolly when I want some form of sanity in my life.The infusion of nature, art and wood gives this café a rustic, tranquil and therapeutic feel that makes you still and calm. Hanging on the walls apart from the painting of the world are quotes that puzzles your mind, pictures and names of great minds. The café caters to “smokers” too, there is a special room tagged CIGAR you get to have your privacy, a stocked bookshelf, well decorated restroom and little vintage cars and animals to play with while you puff away.I come here for the coffee, my fav blend is Espresso and Cappuccino, but I tend to try other blend and tea when I am here. I recommend you try their peppermint tea, hot chocolate and masala chai latte, I have never had it better in Abuja. Their coffee/tea is served with chinchin. I rarely eat in cafes but here, the chef is amazing, bet he got his skills from the galaxy because every bite is a taste of bliss.I recommend their Barracuda Couscous, it is super healthy and tasty, and also their pan seared grouper (fish) is a goal. I really didn’t like their Jamaican jerk chicken served with rice and peas(beans), it was a bit off for me. Their Chicken pesto sandwich served with crispy fries leaves you craving for more. They are a little bit pricy but, you can’t expect to sit and travel the world on a cheap budget.If you are looking to have a quiet time, need to get your zing back, need “me time”, or a place to write and get inspiration, Grounded Café is the place for you! I was invited for a business meeting, first thing that caught my attention was the artistic way the menu was written outside the sit out area, and I knew I was in the right place. Before I entered into the café, I saw a sticker NO STUPID PEOPLE BEYOND THIS POINT” I knew I was in for a ride and fun time, as I entered laughing I was greeted with a warm smile by a pleasant waiter dressed in black with the name of the café monogramed on the shirt.The interior design of the café is an infusion of nature, art and wood which gives it a country-like feel (home), very tranquil. As a lover of art and quotes, I was fascinated as I continued reading quotes and looking at the painting on the walls. They have wooden and plastic animals, vintage cars, and scented candles that serves as ornaments on the tables. You get to see the painting of the world and also pictures of great minds.This café has a well-stocked bookshelf where you can pull a book and read while you enjoy every bite of your meal. As a tea lover, I ordered my fav flavor “peppermint” it tasted differently guess it was the skill and love that was used to prepare this pot of tea, well it was served with chin-chin (it tasted so nice I had to beg for more).When it comes to restrooms, I have OCD as I rarely use public toilet, on entering the restroom given that it rained that day, I needed to take a leak. On entering, the aroma that hit me, tickled my sense gave me the feel of being in the spa, the scented candles, the placement of the hand wash, hand towel and hand crème was done with finesse, I didn’t want to leave, I felt like having my tea right there!Their food turnaround time is average, their plating okay and the food nice. Looking for where to elope with yourself, where to get inspired, book reading event, book club, get together with like minds, this is the perfect spot.I recommend Grounded Café@groundedcafe.abuja and I am sure to return. Great wifi, terrible drinks.The masala chai made me want to cry bitter tears. Basic milky tea, imperceptible spices, not worth the price. This is the second time I have visited the cafe and ordered food and was terribly disappointed.

Initially Bricks Cafe, Grounded is an improved Cafe with a similar theme and improved menu. The service is A1 and the location is perfect if you are looking for somewhere quiet to have coffee, all day breakfast brunch and now lunch included. The Cigar room is still top notch with a 60s feel and an array of Cigars to chose from. They are still expanding to provide both indoor and outdoor dining.Highly recommended 👌

Great little place, the decor is relaxing and homey and there are a few books for reading. The ambience is so homey, a lovely coffee house with great food and drinks. The mojito was superb and the chicken and pesto panini was delicious. Its a little pricey but the portions were generous and the meal was definitely worth it. The staff are so helpful and friendly, its the perfect place to chill with friends or hide out by yourself for some me time.
