I like the Food there its more of cultural and feels like I am in the Northern part of the country which I love and miss
Always.... Good affordable Food. Courteous and prompt takeaway Service. You need to have Cash for Take away. If you dont there are POS guys hanging around ready to cash you out for a 100N.
Medium level restaurant; tasty northern and tropical dishes served. Buffet option is available at reasonable price.
If you feel like going traditional cuisines, thats the place.
Home for the best Hausa food menu. Any local Hausa dish you are craving for, shagalinku restaurant is the place for you. Try them out
Nice Place, Theyve maintained standard for long
The food was good. Its a go-to spot for ok food and a northern atmosphere
Its fairly ok in terms of services and sanitary conditions. But, the absence of Menu with price list for meals on the tables for Customers to see all the choices they have is a serious short coming. This doesnt allow the Customers to make informed choices based on availability and affordability. Theres also the challenge of unreceipted payments. The Waiters just collect money from the Customer and glide away. Whether the amount they told the Customer is correct or not, whether they made returns of the whole money or part no one knows for certain. With all the above, I still like the place.
A place to comfortably sit and eat local and continental dishes
A cool restaurant that offers great meals with timely service.
A nice restaurant to get local cuisine.
Good food but very poor service.
Foods are overpriced and mostly tasteless. Long story short , this restaurant is just surviving on past glory.
Great restaurant, offers a variety of African and Arabian dishes.
Basic Northern Nigeria dishes. Nice and inexpensive.
They have a very nice and lovely delicious meal which i always enjoy so much
D but still growing strong
Very good location for eatery food is good and testy.
There is traditional hausa dishes like buski and the rest
Eat their jollof rice. Super nice
Cool restaurant they serve continental and Nigerian dishes.
Good place to eat Northern traditional foods
I understand this restaurant has been around since the late 70s. I loved the food. It comes with a local feel and taste and its absolutely delicious. The jollof rice and beans I ate was quite delicious, it comes with sweet potatoes. They also serve tuwo cinkafa and peppersoup. The attendants are quick to serve (average 5 mins). Love the place.
Local dishes available and the prices are modest. Testy meal
Have been a patron for several years and the quality of both food and service are excellent.
Very good Hausas food
Place is still trudging on. Local cuisines still at affordable prices. Very helpful especially in post covid period
Good service
Good food
Local northern Nigeria taste.
Though they are selling different types of food, but Shagalinku is generally known as Hausas local food spot. Besides the restaurant, theres so many shops around where they are selling wares like Hausa brocade, perfumes and many other things
If youre into local Hausa cuisine. This here is your best spot for em @ affordable prices to
Food costs too much without any change in taste over a long period.
Nice meals but Sunday meals are not so good
A very delicious meal and immaculate environment. I enjoyed myself
Not as exciting anymore
A restaurant that provides nothern Nigerian delicacies, soups, snacks and pastries. Friendly staff and presence of car park for customers. The preparation of fresh and affordable foods daily is the best thing for me. Take away is available, other businesses are located in thr same complex so the plaza is always busy.
Went to see my friend and i perceived the food, just had to eat😁 Nice and local
Nice meal
Really nice and tasty food
Me and my husband enjoyed the food!
A nice native food rrstaurant
Gives me that northern traditional nostalgic vibes, good food good service, fastest service in Abuja food comes out almost instantly and it’s fresh👍🏾
A good place to buy and eat Hausa local food and dishes
Its great for northerners. I come here for their ram peppersoup and rice and stew that has not changed for like forever. The salad reminds me of the old days when I lived with my parents. I love the salad totally....the prices are affordable

It is a very hygienic place abdtheir food is nourishing
I was walked out of the restaurant because I ordered drinks to start. The waiter insisted that I order or I leave. Wow.If there was a rating worse than ZERO I would give it. Terrible courtesy absolutely lousy looking interior. Please avoid.
Awesome place
I love their dishes
Shagalinku Restaurant is nice.
Nice place to associates with.
Pleasant

Tasty and plentiful food.
Not the tidiest place. Place is always full. Serve only Northern Local Food

Fairly good
Same old wonderful place to be at.Food so nice taste delicious and cheap..
Love there pepper soup
Local and hygienic food at affordable prices
They need to get a POS, proper management and staff reorientation to say the least.
This restaurant is an OK place to eat but not top notch. Major delicacies are of northern extraction of Nigeria. The food is good but they need offer more varieties and also imbibe modern ways for payment instead of cash always.
This place is located at Area Eleven close to Federal Capital Development Authority here in the City of Abuja. There is a organized parking space and access road. You can find a good meal of your choice and assorted Cold drinks. Here you can also buy things like clothes, shoes and electronics. You can also get your roasted chicken ,fish and other petty trading so check in now.
Delicious meals at the go
Excellent Home made food
Nice and delicious dishes. I love the buffet service. Welcoming their guests is top notch. Good African dishes.
Doesnt accept pos. Cash only

Decent I suppose. Value for money!
Very nice place to eat
Very nice meal.
Nice place, but a bit crowded
Almost a one-stop place. Variety of tasty meals. Competitive buffet rates. You can also shop for almost anything ranging from grocery to clothes and shoes at the same place.
If you are from the northern Nigeria and you are looking for a teast of home, this is the place.
Very serene and cozy..... customer service was top notch
It was a wow!!!! A lot of northern delicacy are served here. I ate tuwon shinkafa and miyan kuka. Nice place I must say....!
Excellent
Great
The experience of the Hausa culture is exciting. But the food was a bit oily for my liking but it was very average but that is very personal. A plate of rice is 800 and with three pieces of meat. The meat was super tender, no need to chew. Amazing meat and kunu. Very affordable prices, neat environment. Very Hausa and Islamic vibe. But if you are looking for something cultural, its the place for you.
A nice place to eat. Has a long history and service is quick, food is well priced , tasty and is a very good place to experience Hausa / Northern Nigeria Delicacies.
Sweet food there
Consistent
Its great !
Really tasty meal (big enough to fill up the belly) in a well spaced sitting arrangement. Good for families and business associates to eat out. Theres also a VIP section for more convenience
