The ambience is good. Nice setup, ventilation and air conditioning system. Good music and environment. The mocktails & cocktails were slacking. I will like to believe it was just one night of miss. Long Island Tea is probably the most popular cocktail worldwide. However, the one served was iced-out & watery. The Mojito & Milk Shake tasted like they were straight out of the sugar factory. They have a large collection & variety of drinks. So if youre in groups, Im sure there are bottles for everyone. There are several sitting areas including bar side stools. They have a lot of staff but service could still be quicker. The staff are courteous though. Pretty decent.

For the love of ambience and aesthetics, A Bar Called Paper will speak your love language. Beautifully set up with nooks for the picture lovers, their staff are very attentive and warm. Went there on a busy night and was grateful that we were still well catered for. I had a good virgin mojito here which was affordably priced. Will be back to try the food. Its a tight street for parking but theres a valet service available for 1,500.

Another beautiful spot to visit. Loved the food, DJ, cocktails, scenery, etc. A bit privy but absolutely worth it. You could sit inside or outside and still have so much fun. I got there by 3pm, so I was asked to leave by the security man with his reason being that they open by 4pm. I saw their manager I guess, so I explained to him I was coming for the first time and he let me sit at the glass room. By 4pm I made my order which was the house rice, grilled chicken with plantain (5000 naira), then chivita juice (3500 naira). The order took about 40-45 minutes to get ready but best believe it was worth the wait. I enjoyed my meal, the waitress was so beautiful and nice, her name is Miracle. The female bathroom has a really beautiful room for taking pictures and all. If you haven’t been to a bar called paper, please try to visit.

A perfect place for night crawlers. It opens by 4pm till mama calls you. The bathroom is the Holy grail for that perfect selfie. A can of soda is 1k, so figure out yourself if you can afford it.its the perfect lounge for someone who craves privacy with great vibes😁 and awesome service

The location is a bit tricky to locate, but the ambience of the spot is worth the search. Though there is a down side, my meal didn’t taste fantastic like the first time i visited. Or was it my tastebuds? Naaaah! Something wasn’t just right and i hope they correct it before i visit again.

Simply amazing! Its just the right place to hide and have fun... It could also serve as a networking ground. Excellent interior and their prices are very adorable.

Friendly staff and all, however I didn’t enjoy the music from the D.j (was uncoordinated l) secondly I ordered for a drink from the fresh fruit juice section of the menu but I was given chi exotic pineapple juice with the hope that I was too drunk to notice. The waitress was unapologetic and insisted that we paid for the drink since it had already been poured.

I came here on a Saturday night. The ambience was very nice with good music. We ordered spaghetti bolognese and barbecue chicken wings. The wings tasted like microwaved chicken, very dry and lacking in flavor. The spaghetti took much longer to come out. Food was cold and the minced meat was one of the worst things I have tasted. Overall, come here for vibes but eat at home. Rating 3/10.

Its a small and nice place to hang out. Go there on Thursday to make a song/shout-out request for the DJ to play. They also have a nice prop in the toilet where party goers can go to snap nice colorful photos.The place is small so be ready to sit outside if youre not there early or if you dont make a reservation.The environment is also quiet. Drinks are affordable and you get to meet new people.Just dont go there if you want to be by yourself. Someone must try to be your friend (cool stuff).Edited to remove the parking lot observation. I confirmed that they actually do have one.

Ive been here several times now and every single time Ive had fun. The DJ is cool! The barbecued chicken was fire! The ambiance is comfy. The staff try their best. And the ladies bathroom...well worth visiting. Such fun!

The Valet parking option @abarcalledpaper is a big turnoff especially for first timers. Very ridiculous. Valet parking services are usually offered where the parking lot is full and an alternate parking is available away from the spot!! Besides the valet service, the place is really nice. But the bar hadn’t properly opened then, so I decided to come back another time.Fast forward to the next time I was here, which was Friday, June 18, 2021. I met up with a group of friends and we honestly had a great time:1. The Live Band! I loveeet2. The Ambience of the place (it’s not a very great date place - if you’d want to talk to your date without having to scream - lol, a friend mentioned it and I agree. But if you’re cool with a relaxing evening just listening to good music, you’d like this as a date place).I had to leave by like 9:30pm, so my friends covered my bill. But when the bill was sent to me so I could pay back, I was honestly stunned.First of all, it was handwritten (which clearly points to something shady)Secondly, for every single thing (apart from the harmattan cocktail) we had ordered, the cost had been multiplied.I have proof, so I’d post it here.On the menu, shawarma was stated to be 2k.According to the handwritten bill, the 3 shawarmas we bought where “9k” (so extra 3k was added here)Also, plantain, a side dish that one of us decided to take as a main meal was stated as 1500 on the menu, but according to the bill, it was 2kLol, I don’t even want to complain about the fact that water was stated as 1k on the bill, because that’s understandable since it’s a “big Abuja” restaurantBut the one that weakened me was the fact that VAT (Value added tax) was stated as 2050 naira!So a bill that was supposed to be about 22,500 was now about 29,000.I was honestly really disappointed at a place that I hoped to refer people to.I would have gone back to complain, but it never occurred to me till someone mentioned I could do that and by that time, a number of days had already passed.So this is why I’ve come here to give this review.Please do better guys, I really like A Bar Called Paper.

My last experience was a nightmare. I watched one of the owners of the bar alongside with the bouncers and his friends beat up a customer over a slight misunderstanding. What kind of businessman beats up his customer over an issue that a simple dialogue could have resolved? Paper is a no no for me.... who knows, I may be the next victim!

Six of us walked in to an almost empty Paper but I dont understand why the waitresses were asking how much we were planning to spend even before they gave us a place to sit, talking about all the spaces being reserved.The ambience is awesome, yeah. Great aesthetics and music. Butttt if you dont have a reservation, dont walk in and expect to have a seamless experience.

First time I was there, they had a leaking AC that was dripping on the chair. Next time I went, they had fixed it, I like that they’re trying to pay attention to the little things.
