Cherríes a very convenient market to shop with varieties of products, but they should be indicating if its Halal, most especially their butchery and groceries.
An organised and very well stocked supermarket. Its open 24/7 so thats big plus especially in this neighbourhood that doesnt have many convenience stores. It has wheelchair accessible parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Parking in general may be a problem because there is little parking space and its located on the corner of two small streets.
So, all along, Id referred to the H-Medix on Gimbiya Street as just that....H-MEDIX! The name is Cherries Hypermarket!Well, if you get tired from prowling round and need to take a breather, I would suggest taking some few scoops of ice cream especially if its a sunny day, or a glass of mocktail/ cocktail. They have an array of pastries as well to fill in your tummy.
A 24/7 bakery, boutique and supermarket with good choices of products on their shelf. They present competitive pricing across all commodities. They also collaborate with specialised vendors offering genuine products. I also like to commend their cashiers for their attitude to work in regards quick billings and minor observations: Keep it up..
Easily accessible at all times. Fairly nice attendees. Amazing pastries.
Supermarket building that has a restaurant, pharmacy, barbershop, and many other stores in it. There’s an area for wheelchair and trolleys to be used and an escalator. Supermarket is quite big and has about 10 ten checkout/pay points . There’s a parking area both behind, in front and beside the mall. It is located in the city centre and opening hours is 7am Nigerian time . There’s also ATM available for people that need to make cash withdrawals
LIKESKids books sectionDislikesPriceyThe kids books section is stocked with great books. This is the only shop I got Asterix and Obelix comics two years ago and l keep coming back every few months to buy books for my girl.In this visit, I discovered that they had security things in the flap of some books that triggered an alarm at the door if you didnt pay. Impressive. (The cashier is supposed to disable it)They have a toy section but the prices are expensive. (If you want toys, try Exclusive Stores where there is a whole floor dedicated to kids stuff.)The discounted section usually has some goodies are great prices. There are great gift items for ladies here like perfumes and other things ladies will like at fairly affordable prices. Think Birthdays and Valentines Day.As a supermarket, my general impression is that Cherries is too pricey for families to do their monthly shopping. This makes the whole hypermarket name misleading. Things should be much, much cheaper.
Nice supermarket with a good selection of products. What I absolutely dont like is that you cant take in your own groceries bag. Its time in Nigeria and globally to save plastic. Change that policy and then you get 5 Stars.
I go there quite a lot cos its well stocked and close to home and office, but double check your prices. They are the kings of false pricing. What you picked off a shelf for N600, youll find out on your receipt you paid N830 for. Shop with your eyes open!
My best place in Gimbiya yet. Drinks, water and snack sooo affordable. H-MEDIX pharmacy upstairs is relatively expensive though. Parking on the premises is a struggle. So, please find a save distance to park your car and walk to the Mart, thank me later😊. So, in all, it is the best thing that has happened to Gimbiya Street and except for the traffic jam sometimes, it should be your choice place to shop.
Excellent customers service the place is well spacious . They have a standard family super market, a hair cut salon a pharmacy , a restaurant I love their puff puff and meat pie , they also have a cloth store personally I think the cloths are way too expensive . In general it a friendly environment you ll enjoy shopping there
Nice place but they always have limited options for cosmetic & hair products.
This market is owned by H-Medix and carries everything! From home appliances to grocery. I personally go for the biscuits and crisps; a very wide variety.
For your best ofada rice, sharwama and puff Puff go to their restaurant side, then you can get your affordable things there
Beautiful place to shop ,You will love these place.
This is to share my bitter experience with CHERRIES SUPERMARKET in Garki. The situation is like this... I purchased a PS4 (Play Station 4 by SONY) from Cherries in August 2018 for my sons birthday for N. 126000/- . On the day of purchase itself it was not functioning well. The technician there said it was due to lack of charge in joystick. We took it home and the joy stick was getting disconnected every now and then and he being a small boy didnt use it much. Now during this Easter holidays he wanted to use it and we took it out but the same problem continued even after charging the joy sticks. This time I took it to a technician in Wuse 2. He opened the PS4 and immediately said its not a new product, but a refurbished one!!! I immediately called the manager of Cherries and I could not get a positive reply. Do you think it was fair from the side of a big supermarket to sell refurbished products as new ? Is it not day light robbery?#PS4 #Cherriessupermarket #cheating
A new born supermarket... like a new born baby who needs time before starting to crawl. Better go to shoprite or parkn shop
A unique shopping experience in Abuja, lovely environment everything in one roof. Plus H.Medix / Cherries hyper supermarket / Kook Diner Restaurant and many more...
Lovely place to shop and get your drugs under one roof...
Affordable with a vast range of products. My only problem is the lack of parking space
Oooh I love shopping here
Poorly trained staff. Very rude & non chalant. They have no customer complaint desk and do not have any channel for customer complaints.Beware, the cashiers are also fraudulent. I can go on and on.
Pros: Cool ambience, nice attendants.Cons: Insufficient parking, busy road and traffic
Good shopping Centre, with easy pick ups
Located at the heart of Gimbiya, it is located at City Centre mall.
Good but no parking space
