Jabi Art and Craft Market is a perfect place to shop anything related to arts and craft. Item sold there are very affordable and the site is a beautiful one. I felt so satisfied just walking around the place and seeing how creative the people are. Items I bought there, I had priced somewhere else and it turned out cheaper at the Arts and Crafts market.

I loved all the beads and household items on display. Even though it’s a small market compared to what I expected, it’s okay. My only issue is with the pricing of items, it seems it’s mostly on the high side because of the foreigners shopping there. A bracelet-bead I got for 200 Naira in Lagos was selling for 500 Naira here. Anyway, it was nice visiting and buying stuff.

📍: JABI ART MARKET/VILLAGE•If you’re a lover of arts and crafts then this is a place you’d love to visit.•LOCATIONGoogle maps is quite accurate and location is accessible.•AMBIENCEThis tourist site should be on your must visit if you’re in the Buj. The sellers have a variety of rattan fashion pieces & furniture, raffia baskets, games, cane chairs, beads, boho and decor pieces are also not lacking here. This is a minimal aesthetic lover haven.•SPACEThere’s ample parking and walking space.•SERVICEThe sellers are nice, friendly and they’re very willing to help you run around to find what you need(you may need to tip them for such).Price of items ranges from 1500 upwards for different items.•NOTE- There’re no atms around, it’s better to carry cash as some of the sellers don’t accept transfers.- Dress comfortably as it’s quite stuffy on a sunny day- Go prepared to bargain well to get good deals.- Feel free to ask questions and if you’re not satisfied with a product check other sellers and you’d find what you need.- Pictures are allowed but ask the sellers first before taking a photo in their stall.•Have you visited JABI ART MARKET? and would you love to? Tag us if you do #dulcylifestyle

It is must if you have no choice. But Jakonde in Lekki, Lagos is far far superior in every criteria. Hassle the price. Undercut it by 3/4 or more. Sorry to say but if you are not black in Nigeria - then you are a walking ATM... And really go there only if you cannot go to some better arts and Craft market... and then go with a local person to get the price right.

1st of go with an artistic eye and a strong bargaining power. You will see almost everything arts and craft, which you dont find in the regular market. The traders are welcoming, in the sense that they allow you view even if you may not end up buying the particular wears.I got some items for interior decor and a bag which the trader said was made from (crocodile skin🤣🤣, I didnt believe that gist Sha) but I like the bag, its strong (quality) and it goes with almost all my outfits for different occasions.I made more videos, which I couldnt post
