This is one of the modern train stations constructed by the Muhammadu Buharis administration.It is also Known as Wole Soyinka Train Station, Abeokuta.This station is few minutes from the Government office, Oke Mosan.

They need to look at the price... And time wasted.. train sud be more cheaper compare to other form of transportation.. so if am to go and return same-day about 9k.. for nice space called first class. So if am a salary earner and my minimum wage is 30k and I am to go see my family every weekend. Thats 36k in a month. Thats above my salary.. all is well.. then time for 6am from both state sud be worked on..

Very good place but the roads leading to the station are not tarred. The solar street light dont work in the evening, this is not good enough. Kindly make arrangements for transport to pick you up as you may experience difficulties getting out of the place

Facilities in the station are lovely and is set up to be very organized. Hoping they maintain that🙈...access to the station is very bad though as the road have not been completed and there is no signage to direct first timers to the station from town.

Got to the station at night. Lots of Can services and Bikes were available but u have to walk for about 1-2 mins to get to the car park.

This is Professor Wole Soyinka train station located in Laderin, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. This is a modern and fully equipped station which plies Lagoss, Abeokuat and Ibadan routes from Monday to Sunday.

Exciting times ahead for rail transportation in Nigeria. First it was Kaduna-Abuja and now Lagos-Ibadan. The quality of the ongoing works on the stations is quite good, albeit slow. But one can imagine some good travel experience in these coaches and in these stations which are being built all over the place these days.One is tempted to look at the messy red earth in the rains and be discouraged, but this is just a tiny, fleeting blemish in the grand scheme of rail transportation in Nigeria.

This terminal is at a 70% completion level but well organised and cool.

The terminal is still under construction,but when its completed it would be very beautiful!!!!From Lagos to Laderin Station is 1hr.30mins, it was cool train ride.The fare was 4500 for first class but the economy is around 2500.

The train is a beautiful experience especially with children. Just wished the ticket purchase channel is looked into as I believe it can be done better.

Still being constructed so probably not a fair description at this point. Access roads are dirt roads and extremely dusty. It will be a nightmare during the rains. I had to wait for a taxi which makes you wonder about the business sense of taxi drivers in Abeokuta as there were a few people looking for taxis
