Wonderful barracksI did my primary school there.(army Children School 3) 2012

35 and 351 Artillery Brigades of the Nigerian Army are situated there. The land mass is very large and filled with bushy areas (possibly due to the fact that its an artillery brigade), interspersed among which are new and old, abandoned buildings. The barracks is also somewhat far from the main city, and movement is restricted in and around the area.

Lack of infrastructure

It is purely military barracks. I was unable to take more pix than those I uploaded for fear of being bullied. It is the most popular barracks in Abeokuta. It is very close to Alamala village from where it derives its name.

They are good when it come to security matters

Trip to Abeokuta from Lagos, good road all the way, however due to ongoing road rehab and constructions in Ogun State, Road Abeokuta-Imeko is a real draw back.

Alamala barracks is a military barracks open 24 hrs for military personnel and 7am to 6pm for non military personnel e.g students, parents Teachers, guidian and other staff of the school situated in it, Alamala is on the right hand side when approaching from Rouder, Crescent university and soyoye and on the left when approaching from Imala and Imeko Afon road
