Its a lovely area, where you can get taxi to any place in abeokuta...though its needs bus terminal and traffic light to reduce the traffic around there....its a very popular place and virtually almost all taxi drivers knows the place....at the brewery you cant miss your way cos at least 1 person knows where you are going to...

I was just at brewery junction when the Yoruba nation rally was taking place but from what I saw, the place looks quite peaceful with every one going about their businesses. I also noticed a park at this sport to Lagos as well as Abeokuta, Wasimi, Itori, all along same axis. I didnt explore enough to know if one can get to other places from this point.

Brewery now after the construction of the bad part of the road, is smooth and motorable and less traffic

Out of the two entrance to Abeokuta the state capital of Ogun state, Brewery is as Popular as those entrance. Banking facilities and an old functioning train station is just metres away.You can board a public transport going to Lagos at an affordable price and even almost anywhere within The city of Abeokuta itself.With the recent addition of Move,Ibafo,Sagamu to its list of transport destinations Brewery is becoming more popular.However, the traffic congestion around 4PM-6pm during the working days can make this route a nightmare.

Yesterday there is a serious holdup but the place is still under construction.

This is a major road in Abeokuta connecting Lagos and other major towns in Ogun State such as Ewekoro, Ifo and Ota. The road is named Brewery because of a brewery plant located along the road in the 80s but which has closed down.
