Simeon Adebo is a library situated in Kuto Abeokuta, opposite Alaba Lawson School. I have started using the place (over 3months) by registering for a 1 year plan as a reader. The place is quite condusive and well in shape for my self study as I basically just use their space and power outlet for my device. What I find most fascinating about the library is the fact that electricity hardly goes out. I can tell you that for over 3 months that Ive been using the library I havent experienced power outage for over 30 minutes (always less). Aside from the once in a while chit-chat from the library staff which might disturb your reading (you can always call them to order though) and the structures/interiors looking old fashioned, every other thing are quite okay I must say. Most of the staff I have interacted with are also quite friendly too.👏🏿Pecks🤗: Very good electricity, Very very Affordable registration fee, good landscaping, Canteen, Mini Art section.
Very spacious library with a courteous set of staff.I usually go there to read my own books and e-materials, and it serves me perfectly, although modern furnitures and a few units of Air Conditioners can make the experience more comfortable.I am not sure there is Internet access for the library users, I also dont know about the quality of books available there. Ill find out one of these days.
The library is situated in a serene environment.

Simeon Adebo Library is a state owned Library located in presidential blvd road, kuto abeokuta. Its very close to the popular kuto round about directly opposite Alaba Lawson group of schools. Opens working days by 9am to 6pm and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays. It has a spacious compound designed with flowers giving it a great aesthetic view. Neat lawns, big parking space. If you visiting the first time, you will have to register at the entrance with a thousand naira for students and 2000NGN for adults. You will be given a library card to fill and return the next day with 2 passport photographs. Bags are dropped at shelves beside the entrance and is not allowed into the library. The ground floor holds the children library and the first floor is for adults. The Library is spacious, quiet and conducive for learning. The table and chairs are good, though some are a bit old and needs maintenance. Has a functional fan and air conditioner I cant say that works throughout my usage in the Library. There is always power supply. The shelves contains books from different aspects of education ranging from philosophy, psychology, metaphysics, encyclopedia, religion, social sciences, anthropology, law, international relation, public administration, economy, linguistics, engineering, natural and health sciences. A few of the books are outdated but most are up to date. The Library has some rules, so be sure you try to abide by them. Some are: Leave books consulted on the table, do not tear books, do not bring in edibles or eat inside the library, no noise making in the library, bags are not allowed inside the library.
